Just finished listening to 'Through These Eyes' again - a worthy addition to the canon. Hell, I'm 56, with teenage daughters (one of whom has Science and Machinery and Fading Colours on her iPod) and I can't resist drumming along on my knees! Mostly Autumn - some of the most uplifting, spirit-raising music I've ever heard. And I've listened to prog rock in its pomp! I keep missing your gigs in Verviers because the drive from Brussels isn't easy. Heerlen is much easier, so I'm planning to be there in April. Otherwise: Don't ever stop what you're doing - if you're feeling down, listening to MA is the perfect answer. You deserve all the success you can get.
P.S. Can I plug Pure Reason Revolution? - You must know why!

The X-mas party in De Boerderij last saturday was really great! For me it was the best of all gigs of MA I saw so far.

Great gig at the Junction last night. The band seemed more relaxed than we've seen for a long while and all seemed to be having a fun time. Very clear sound, though Anne-Marie's flute was woefully low in the mix and lost totally in some of the songs. It was great to see the band on our doorstep at the Junction again after such a long absence, the last time in Cambridge being at the old Boatrace pub when Brian was a bit concussed and suffering a heavy cold. It was a fair turnout in the crowd and hopefully the band could consider adding the venue to a future tour? Great night out and a fantastic set with some welcome oldies from Passengers returning and some excellent renditions from Glass Shadows. What happened to Liam? He seemed to spring into life when he put the hat and shades on, and Bryan's impromptu sing-a-bit-drink-a-bit routine during Fairytale N.Y. was hilarious. A good fun end to an excellent evening.

Just got back from York today (29/11/08) after seeing you all at the Grand Opera House. A trip we decided to make on acc of the awful venues we have here. Wow wat a show! truly awe inspiring you were all brilliant as ever!! Been following you for 9 years now and can't wait 'til the next one. Bryan's solo cd is excellent! Belated congrats to Heather, Ian and baby Harlan wat a little star we loved his stage debut! Happy Christmas to you all!! Keep on writing we love you all.

Have to admit The Appian Way is one of the catchiest tunes I've heard by anyone for a long time. Humming along as I type. Please place it on MA setlists for a bit. Like the album, another one when you have time to fill please.
