Well done, Colin, A very nicely put together site, and particularly visually appealing as well as well-written. Keep up the good work! I just need to correct one small error though. Brian May\'s school (and mine, albeit a few years later) was Hanworth Road Junior Mixed School, or just Hanworth Road Junior. This, as you probably know, is the building at the junction of Hanworth Road and Cardinal Road, which now houses both Cardinal Road Infants and Junior School. In fact, the frontage is just the original 1884 façade; a new school was built behind it in the 1990s. Hanworth Road Junior moved to brand new premises in the mid 70s, and became Victoria Junior School. |

Loved seeing all the photos of Feltham. My father was born at 22 Railway Terrace a smallholding behind the High St. which I believe no longer exists. It was farmed by my great-grandfather Albert Hempstead. He also taught mat-making at the Feltham Borstal. |
