I\'m adopted and was intrigued by your \"cousins\" article. I\'m someone heavily interested in Genealogy - more so I believe that is due to the fact that I am adopted.

I keep hoping to unearth treasures and I\' m glad you are taking part in your search. I believe it\'s up to each of us to keep records that will help others down the road. In my search I have uncovered a disabled young lady who was buried in records and would of been virtually erased, no one would of known she existed.

Your story is so familiar. We lost our beautiful son at 39 weeks and 2 days in June of 2010. We did not obtain an explaination for Gabriel's death. Part of me thinks it was his time to become an angel. You are so right about learning a mother's love. I have never experienced such love before and could not even imagine how great it is. Your son reminds me of how our son looks in his photos. Like a sleeping angel, so peaceful. Sending you my love.

Hello. My name is Marisa. I just lost my daughter Savanah Marie Whitney Febuary 15th 2010. She was born December 18th 2009. Somedays i dont know how i wll ever get by. I had a really rough pregnancy with her an had to have an emergancy csection. I have wanted a baby for along time. She was 7 weeks early, weighing only 3lbs 10ozs, she was very strong. She didnt need anything to breath or meds. She just needed to grow.. She was in the hospital for a month at Eastern Maine Medical Center NICU. On January 17th I got to bring my little angel home. She went home weighing only 5lbs 3 ozs. She was so strong an i love her so much. She passed away 2 days before turning 2 months old. I miss her so much. I still dont know what iam ever going to do without her. :( Thannks for the stories, Marisa

By accident, looking for something for a friend

Forgive me, but I happened on your website by accident because I have a friend who lost her daughter also named Hope when Hope was only 6 mo in the womb. However, my friend is pregnant again and due with child in 2-4 weeks. I would like to gift this beautiful woman for her newborn to be, however I want to let her know that I remember Hope too. Do you have any good suggestions as to what I can do to celebrate her new child's birth and yet remember her Angel that has passed?

I read your page about your beautiful child, I sat here and cried. How strong you must be. I am sitting here with my 6 year old and my husband and I are thinking of having another child. I am so scared, you are so strong. Thank you for sharing your Angel. God Bless you and your family.
