Re: Message

Strelets, I hope you don't mind me asking this, but there is so much bogus information on the web and via emails.

There *is* a MiniWarfare and there *is* a Frank?

Re: Message

Yes
Did you mean: mini warfare

Dear Strelets,

Thank you for replying.

This email concurs with information that is coming from ex-pats and others as China, Wuhan in particular, comes out the other side of this initial epidemic. They also stress the messages of staying in and following instructions. Let's hope the few that are flaunting them will take heed.

Also hoping for similar turn around in Europe, Italy and Spain in particular, South America and elsewhere and that others are learning from the experience. It will be nice when we are at the stage of getting the world going again and helping those who have been 'kicked in the guts' (physically, emotionally, financially) by the pandemic.

All the best to you all at Strelets,

James

Maybe it's true, or maybe not, who know...

but I wish him good health.

Re: Message

Frank's message - who's hurt by such a message which, first of all, expresses concern, compassion and goodwill?

But I wish you good health too.

Re: Message

The Chinese are the biggest ethnic minority in Exeter and mainly students. I have been seeing Chinese youngsters with face masks since December of last year. They often wear them when they have the flu as well as the now well known Covid-19. My neighbours are Chinese and have been isolating since late Feb and as their poor luck would have it they are back in isolation again by the UK Government's measures, University shutdowns and so on. The sentiments expressed by Frank are similar to theirs and kind words never go amiss.
Dreadful as the virus is, the lower pollution levels and quiet are something I never thought I would experience again. Another totally empty bus to the hospital has just gone by. Weird but it is all starting to seem commonplace.
