Welcome to the Strelets Forum.
Please feel free to discuss any aspect of 1/72 scale plastic figures, not simply Strelets.
If you have any questions about our products then we will answer them here.
we received today the below message, which we couldn't help but relay here (style and wording as in the original):
This is Frank from MiniWarfare, China. You received this letter because your email is in my contact book. Among you, there are rule writers, manufacturers, retailers, editors, in US, UK, Italy and so on.
As far as I know, things are very bad in America and Europe. The government asked businesses to shut down and work from home, just as China did 2 months ago. You are in a very difficult time but what I would like to tell you, do be panic, it will be OK.
You know, things are getting better in China. My province has basically returned to normal work. The children will return to school in two weeks. Now we don't need to wear masks outdoors.
In your countries, the population density is lower than in China, and the medical conditions are better than in China, so don't be pessimistic, we can make it, either can you.
Wish you healthy and happy, all of you!
Nice, and true, and to be Frank, we all just have to do as we are told, focus on the positives and help those you can.
Thanks for sharing that. My attitude has always been we take reasonable precautions (in my military career we called it "keeping our heads on a swivel") but ultimately we can live in fear - or we can live. I choose to live.
Strelets, I hope you don't mind me asking this, but there is so much bogus information on the web and via emails.
There *is* a MiniWarfare and there *is* a Frank?
Did you mean: mini warfare

Aug 23, 2019 - MiniWarfare is one top miniature wargame stuff designer, manufacturer and retailer in China.
we haven't been in contact with them before, but it seems to be a genuine person.
Maybe it's true, or maybe not, who know...
but I wish him good health.
Frank's message - who's hurt by such a message which, first of all, expresses concern, compassion and goodwill?
But I wish you good health too.
The Chinese are the biggest ethnic minority in Exeter and mainly students. I have been seeing Chinese youngsters with face masks since December of last year. They often wear them when they have the flu as well as the now well known Covid-19. My neighbours are Chinese and have been isolating since late Feb and as their poor luck would have it they are back in isolation again by the UK Government's measures, University shutdowns and so on. The sentiments expressed by Frank are similar to theirs and kind words never go amiss.
Dreadful as the virus is, the lower pollution levels and quiet are something I never thought I would experience again. Another totally empty bus to the hospital has just gone by. Weird but it is all starting to seem commonplace.
