I'm also looking for a John P. Tait. I have it down as Paterson with one T, though. This John P. Tait that I am researching, would have married a Helen Borthwick around 1903 in Galashiels and had 2 daughters, Janet and Margeurite (spelling?). Have you found any info similar to this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey there Jessica, thanks for replying and I apologise for the delayed reply, no sorry I don't know any of those names...
I know that my grandfather's name is Joh Patterson Tait...and I think that my great grandfather is William Tait...from America, but he marries a Scottish woman...but sorry once again, good luck.
