Byzantines,a nice set of heavy Mongols on horseback and light Mongols / Tatars on horseback (XIII-XVII centuries) and Ottomans (janissaries in mail XV-XVI centuries, without guns !), all with separate shields, if you please.

I second that as well. Maybe some decent middle-east cavalry as well: such as ghulams and 13-14th cent. Mamluks and some 16-17th cent. Ottoman fully armoured heavies would be a nice addition to the 1/72 world.
