Russian Winter dress peasant levy

I'm not a great one for box art - it's nice but if I kept the boxes as well as the figures my wife would divorce me (or murder me!) but just for once I loved the box for these Russian guys - just something about the expressions on their faces caught my imagination - dour and very, very mean!

THe Northern Crusades, what a GREAT period!

The new Strelets and upcoming Zvezda figures are OUTSTANDING!

ONe hopes someone will seal the deal and make some BALTS!

It's about the only thing missing now.

Kudos to all!

Re: Russian Winter dress peasant levy

I was drowning in boxed stuff, and realised that if I de-sprued everything, then bagged and lable'd the figures, I could flat-pack the boxes and put them in one larger box with the figure bags on top, they now take up less than a quarter of the space.

Dear Hugh

You must live in a mansion. I have been doing this for about 8 years now. The Zvezda, Pegasus ones that have bits to assemble always leave me with awkward sprue morsels so they take up a little more space. I can usually get 3 or 4 maybe 5 Strelets sets per box. I get a massive roll of plaggy bags from Poundland for £1. Empty ice cream cartons are quite good to store unattached bags in. I think I am one of the few people in the world to have a worn out a sprue cutter though I do use them on my kevlar toe nails (don't do this kids always wear safety goggles and have a responsible adult present).
I am such a good bunny as I recycle the unwanted boxes not store them.

I wish, the last mansion in this family was bombed by its cousins in 1940!!
