Re: What are the dimensions of your playing surface?

Hi, Matt,
I use a ping-pong table so about 1.5 X 3 metres.
We use a second table for bigger games.
At the moment my "club" (2 friends) are doing a cut-down version of Friedland.

Re: Re: Re: What are the dimensions of your playing surface?

6x4' is usually lots for us.

Re: Re: Re: Re: What are the dimensions of your playing surface?

I have a main table which is 8' by 4', but I am planning to replace the surface with one that is 9' by 5'. I also use a smaller table for some games (it's about 4' square)

I use six ping pong tables joined together. There are "lakes" or "ponds" cut into certain sections to all allow access to all areas of the table.

Just strated on building a kind of modulair terrain, (if that's the right word) Using 30X30 cm square wooden bases.

What are the dimensions of your playing surface?

I had also planned on a module table, using 30" squares. Three squares wide, and six squares long. But, with the on-set of arthritis, I had to reduce the demensions, to insure I could reach over every inch of the table to game. The squares became 29"x29". My table is made-up of 18 squares measuring total 14'6" x 7' 3". It makes a good size area for movement for my 25mm figures. Also, I can use just half the table, or even just 6 squares for smaller games. Works out very well....Not to mention, I sometimes have two different games going, one at each end.

Ping-pong table, but I can make it longer if required

Re: Re: What are the dimensions of your playing surface?

My table is roughly 6'x4'. Eventually will be larger once I invest in a house.
