Well, I think I have understood that Strelets is going to make no more 48 poses sets (unless in big boxes, with two or three old sets reissues, which I personally don't like so much), but only 12 poses cavalry sets and 12 poses infantry minisets.
My suggestion is:
- 12 poses cavalry sets are obviously OK;
- 48 poses sets were probably too much heaven, but 12 poses minisets are lacking command group, standard bearer, musicians, specialists, dead or wounded men, SO WHY
does not Strelets make sets containing THREE 12 "ordinary" poses sprues (firing, loading, advancing, thrusting etc.), and ONE 12 "special" poses sprue (command group, standard bearer, musicians, specialists, dead or wounded men etc.)???
Would this be possible, also under an economic and commercial perspective? Making TWO different sprues (24 different poses) is certainly cheaper than FOUR (48 different poses). Isn't it?
This is a good idea Nicola,the 3+1 format allows a good selection of specialist figures and avoids such things as 4 drummers and 4 flag-bearers between 48 men.This is basically what Esci used to do,so come on Strelets,how about it?
