Dear Patsy,

we were thinking about Russian infantry in pre-WWII uniforms and helmets but so far haven't decided to make such a set/sets.

I'm not sure how the Soviet army looked at the beginning or just prior to WWII but I would be a bit cautious with such a set. Obviously, if they could be used for the Winter War and including 1941 then that would be a very marketable set, I think. But if they couldn't be used for that then I think they would have limited appeal - I can't imagine there are too many people going to build armies to fight out the engagements with Japanese forces that culminated in Kholkin Gol. Personally, what I think would prove really popular would be some good great coated and fur hatted infantry suitable for the Russian Civil War, these are the only troops for that conflict that are not currently available and would be a must for people wanting to fight it.
