THANK YOU STRELETS!

I don't know what to say. First of all, I checked PSR and was so giddy at my discovery that I came here to create a post about the subject. I had just been here a minute before and this thread was not there--it looks like you beat me to it Harry!

I want to thank the entire Strelets*R team for undertaking this project. This makes me so happy. This war is one of my absolute favorites (I am related to William Wallace on my father's side, you know), and I can't wait for them to come out! This will go great with Valdemar's Robert the Bruce single figure. If you guys just fix up the horses (and the bagpiper) in your Wallace set and re-release them, I would be as happy as a clam! (Does anyone have an idea as to a set that has good horses that can substitute the Wallce mounts? All comments appreciated here!)

As Harry said, some archers and cavalry would be great. Perhaps some light and heavy men-at-arms too? Thank you sooooooooooo much Strelets!!

no, that will be a different set.

Actually we've made English army already. When we designed the set of Genry V we meant it to be used for both border and 100-years wars.

Regarding English medieval armies, those of c.1300 and of 1415 would actually look very different, certainly in regards to the men-at-arms.
The Scottish wars knights would have worn chain mail and large bucket style helmets.
Fifteenth century knights were clad in plate armour and would have worn angled "dog-faced" bascinet helms, many of them with the visors removed for better visibility.
The Henry V set is one of Strelets finest productions, but it really will not do for the border wars.

Dear Puppeteer, I believe Strelets meant the Archers as some of them are wearing chain mail.

exactly! When we were making archers we deliberately made them lightly armed so that they could work for XIII century.
