Oops it's Friday again

Nice week-end everyone!

Best regards,

Strelets

Re: Oops it's Friday again

Beautifully done!! I sure hope that you are considering doing more American West period figures or a Mexican-American War series. Most of the American Civil War commanders that you have already sculpted got their start in that one....and you already have Texas Rangers {:-)). Cheers,Strelets. Have a great weekend and stay safe.

Re: Oops it's Friday again

This is great. Every Friday/Saturday without fail. The sculptor's lovely works has translated really well and these fellas look all the better atop their mounts.

Thanks Yuri and all the best to all at Strelets, James

Re: Oops it's Friday again

Perfection! Thank you Strelets, a beautiful set that I can’t wait to paint :)

Re: Oops it's Friday again

Strelets, I am a longtime fan and customer. Way back when you had put up photos of a planned set of Streltzy, I had begged you to actually produce them. I am still hoping for a set that approximates the single collectable figures you put into various sets. I cannot express how much I respect your carrying on, despite this war.....Which I am happy to see that you are winning! Having said all of that, is there any way that you can get the sculptor who fashioned these cavalry figures interested in sculpting Apache or plains tribe figures, both foot and mounted. I rarely criticize anything that you produce (I own both versions of your Dacians) but the indians produced lately have not been up to your high standards. Just wanted to share that.

I have to agree with you about the Comanches and Apaches, and to a lesser extent about the 2 Texas Ranger sets. The figures they remind me most of, especially the Indians, are the old 1960 Airfix Western sets. I look at the contrast with the sculpting on the other ranges you are currently putting out, and on these Dragoons, and I feel like the existing Apache and Comanche sculpts represent a lost opportunity for some amazing 1/72 Western figures.
