I grew up Protestant like most Americans, but started converting about two years ago when I began attending my local Orthodox Church. This was my first Pascha after being baptized into the church though and it was a truly unforgettable experience.

This Easter service in London was very long one, due to many Brits attending, so all service was duplicated in Russian and English languages. So, Asher, you are not the only one converted, welcome to the company:slightly_smiling_face: !
God works with mysterious ways, it's interesting how faith is spreading worldwide. Believe it or not but there is movement from the US in opposit direction as well. For example, a church in a place where my father was born was built basing upon the drawings of a church in Boston. An architect, graduate of Imperial Arts Academy in St.Petersburg fled Russia after Revolution of 1917 and eventually built this church in Boston in the 70s and these same drawings were donated by his widow and used for construction of yet another church in absolutely different location in the Ukraine.

That is an exceptional story! It’s rare that you hear of American architecture influencing European constructions. Usually it’s almost exclusively the other way around. A true “full circle” moment for that new church in Ukraine. Also that’s very cool to hear that so many Brit’s are turning to orthodoxy as well. When I was a kid Orthodoxy was considered a weird pseudo religion that had something to do with Russia and Eastern Europe, now it’s growing at a very rapid pace. The first orthodox cathedral in my home state is set to start construction this year. God certainly does work in mysterious ways!
