Annual Search for War of 1812 Sets+ Thank you Strelets
Firstly I’d like to say thank you to Strelets for releasing seven new sets in time for Christmas. Under all the difficult and adverse conditions you’ve had to endure it truly is a miracle and we are all beyond grateful (despite how many requests we endlessly pour in). Add all the exciting sets that have been teased in the past couple months and things really do seem promising. So thank you so much for all the effort you put in to make us happy.
And with that being said, I was wondering if anybody here has any leads on a Tecumseh set or the 1812 American militia in winter dress set. I’ve been searching for years now, and with all the Napoleonic British being released lately I’ve started a Great War of 1812 project (the light infantry make great Canadian fencibles and Glengarry light infantry) Those two sets would help me out greatly, and they are just great sculpts to own anyways. In the meantime, most of the Seminole War volunteers make great militia, and the Seminoles themselves make great Red Sticks/Creek for Jackson’s Creek War in case anyone was wondering. I’m thinking the Texas Rangers may have some serviceable poses as well.
