"Georgian" looks like too broad a term to me. Let's say "Regency", for the Brits, and "Empire", for the "rest of the world". :innocent: BTW, I think those ladies look not bad but a bit - well - "straight-laced"? I'd say, our chasseurs would have liked them a bit more "swinging" ... https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/14/Fran%C3%A7ois_G%C3%A9rard_-_Madame_R%C3%A9camier_-_WGA08597.jpg ... and even the queen of Prussia ... https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/15/Grassi%2C_Josef_Mathias_-_Luise_von_Mecklenburg-Strelitz.jpg
Is it a good idea to show pictures like that to blokes our age ? Never mind give me a figure based on that Madame Récamier portrait, I'll take the risk. Seriously, female figures in the diaphanous muslin gowns that were the very height of fashion would be great.
That 1st painting was that good i thought i was looking at a photograph for a moment!!!
They are indeed great. I would love to see civilians for the North Africa kits. Perhaps leading baggage camels?
