Welcome to the Strelets Forum. Please feel free to discuss any aspect of 1/72 scale plastic figures, not simply Strelets. If you have any questions about our products then we will answer them here.
Hi.
Depending on what type of spare heads you want, some Hat Industrie sets have spare heads. Both their early and late French marching sets have spare heads.
The Hat Peninsular British have 24 each of spare belgic & light infantry shako wearing heads.
Think the Brunswick infantry set and the Dutch infantry set have spare heads too.
Theres also Franznap who I think make some spares and if you asked them, Im sure Speira miniatures could make some for you. Both these companys are based in the EU (Speira is in Sweden i think).
You mean Napoleonic spare heads? They are in metal. Just order them from FranzNap. As Schilling Figuren are their distributor you will receive them from within Germany anyway, I guess.
Good hints so far form Roger and Handlewithcare. Especially Franznap is brilliant.
If you could specify what exactly you are looking for, you'll probably get plenty of suggestions for head swaps here in the forum. This is still the cheapest and easiest way.
Other than that, I bought a couple of white metal spare heads for Napoleonic French troops (heads with bonnet de police, bicornes for regular gendarmes and cylindrical hussar shakos for 1813-1815) a couple of years ago from Fuhrmann Figuren. They were produced by a French company and came in small plastic bags with 5 or 6 heads each. Can't remember the name of the company though, sorry. You can also ask Fuhrmann Figuren or Kamar via the contact form on their websites. They are usually very nice and responsive.
If you are registered at Benno's you can also place you're question there. Or, as it's been asked before just search Benno's forum for "Spare/replacement heads".

Right! Just these. And you're probably right about these being oop. Maybe Fuhrmann Figuren still has a few lying around in a corner. Asking can't hurt. But Franznap is a good alternative.
That's the nice thing about this forum (and Bennos's): You don't know about a thing or two and sooner or later somebody has the answer! Thanks a lot! :sunglasses:
