This set has a special 'niche' in the French army of the War of Spoanish Succession, being limited to one squadron only of less than 200 individuals. Nonetheless it was a colourful and exotic elite unit.
The officer with his raised hat is excellent, and in my view the set is worth buying just for this figure. I will however make use of the others as well, although on a figure-to-actual ratio of 1:20 in my wargames-style armies I'll only be needing one box of these for a unit of no more than 10 figures).
