The French dragoons are certainly up there, both mounted and dismounted. French Maison du Roi Gardes du Corps will be useful, but what I am most hoping for is some generic French line cavalry. We have also seen a hint of some armoured cavalry, and this set will be useful for various nations including Austrians/Bavarians.
I'll buy a set or two of the new artillery, although to be honest I purchased lots of boxes of the Zvezda GNW artillery sets a few years back....when the WoSS was still not even on the cards at Strelets....and this means that I now have enough C18th guns and gunners to last a lifetime.
French Dragoons in attack and dismounted and the Musketiers. As for artillery, I also bought some of the GNW Zvezda sets back then, but I think their heaviest pieces are all six pounders and the forthcoming Strelets guns also seem to be of the lighter calibre, but gunners in different poses are always welcome, so I'll probably buy some. However, in the future some heavy artillery would be nice, according to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blenheim_order_of_battle the French had 8, 12, 16 and even 24 pdrs. at Blenheim.
I am looking foreword to the last one, so we can get back to the desert and WW2....Bah Humbug
Top stuff Mark! Brought a hearty and prolonged laugh here.
I am with you! Looking forward to all the sets but dismounted dragoon’s the most!
Not one of my eras (yet?), but I am definitely enjoying the eye candy. One thing about the new eras being done is I can hopefully catch up on the backlog of figures to be painted while waiting for the next Nappies or ACW! One has to be philosophical about these things.
