WWI Scenes

Dear Pablo,
thanks for sharing your excellent & inspiring WWI compositions.
They are a sheer pleasure to look at. :slightly_smiling_face:
As the images are a bit small, maybe you could post some more detailed pictures here?

Anyway, great contribution! :+1:

Re: WWI Scenes

Agreed, very good indeed, and I even used a hand held magnifying glass:upside_down_face:

Re: WWI Scenes

Excellent work Pablo!

Are you able to provide further information on the model St Chammond tank and the guns?

Re: WWI Scenes

Dear Palo,

Agreed, agreed and agreed; beautifully painted figures and guns on sensational mini-dioramas. Your texturing of the mud is particularly well done too. I particularly appreciated your work as one who is 'up to his ears' in the mud of Verdun at present.

Regards, James

Re: WWI Scenes

Well, this is serious stuff.
Mostly with contributions the setting is just that, something to enhance the painted figures. These are different in that the whole scene is the centre of attraction not a showcase for the figures alone.
They are evocative of the Paths of Glory and All Quiet on the Western Front and yes you can feel the mud.
Thank you for sharing these with us Pablo, I think I'll go and have a lie down now....
