It is wonderful to see a painted version of an older set from Strelets. You have done it magnificently. The weathering effect on the wood is first-rate. I like your choice of crew from the ancient version (with conversions) and your additions of ropes and payload which add brilliantly to the whole.

I am not entirely familiar with the figures used here...is the older man in the robe making calculations prior to launching the huge projectile? I'm sure that rate of fire with these catapults was pretty slow, but then sieges would last for weeks/months/years!
