I've always enjoyed your painting work no matter the sets and this time you applied your skills to my favorite theme - FFL. Looking forward to your FFL on Patrol, Attacking and especially In Camp.
You're not off the hook yet (no pun intended) until we see those posted here also.
Thank you for the correction. I'm dusting myself off from the second wave of your legionnaires mounted on camels whom I looked right at and didn't even see them coming. Anyone get their number plates? Must be le cafard from being in the desert heat! OK, thanks again - :sun_with_face: :palm_tree:
I agree with Garrison, we have seen some lovely examples from you lately, but these are the 'best of the best' so far for mine. With more to come, no doubt...! Looking forward to them.
No sooner had I mentioned desert review, up popped Alan's contribution. They are wonderfully painted and show the detail on the back which if anything is more detailed than their front. Again as with another prominent contribution of this subject the camel riders look comfortably seated ( if you can on a camel ) so all in all more inspiration and food for thought.
In the main Wargames foundry three colour system French blue and Austrian white, but shadow was slate grey on the trousers and I mixed some French blue with light sand for the highlights on the coats.
