I have investigated the situation concerning (a) the fact that at event results sheets do not distinguish between classes and (b) consequently the points tables shown on the BARC website have been incorrect.
The 'answer' is that the at-event results are generated by reference to a database that is transported from the BARC Championship Registration data [rather than -ie- from manual input for each event].The database was not established in 2010 to 'capture' the different classes that people Registered for when undertaking Championship Registration. That cannot now be corrected for 2010, apparently, but will be corrected for 2011.
Henceforth in 2010 the at-event results will be generated as they have been up to now, but the Championship positions on the BARC website will be manually corrected [thereafter].
