Many of you have sent cards and enquired after Lesley's wellbeing over the last 3 weeks and before a brief progress report I would like to say a personal "thankyou" for your support and concern; it says an awful lot about this club of ours...
Lesley is now on the mend after the late winter rebuild which was brought about by her fall. Although both of her arms are still in plaster, and will be for some time, the prognosis is generally good with the only concern being that we don't know exactly how bendable her right elbow is going to be.
She is extraordinarily cheerful and accepting of her situation and encouraging me to go racing as soon as practicable (my stipulation is that both casts must be off before I hitch up and turn up).
