I am aware that some of you have read the MSA Published Reg changes yesterday and have noted what appears to be a change in relation to ROPS (that may impact our cars) and have contacted me.
I have this matter in hand on behalf of the Club (and others) and have notified Mike, Michelle and Peter R as our Tech Rep and I am contact with a number of relevant people in order to effect clarification.
I have been contacted by MSA UK Technical who have now confirmed that we do not need to worry about the Reg change as it was intended for new cars. In due course there will be a review of the review and that is likely to lead to a review and further pronouncement.
