CLUBMAN CAR WANTED

Hello All,

A good friend of mine (who doesn't really use the Internet) is looking for a modern Clubmans car. He'd prefer something that could be made to run at the front of the grid (driver permitting) in Class 1 and isn't afraid of work. Rolling chassis or complete car considered but must be keenly priced (no dreamers please). Cash waiting.

Many thanks, Michael

Re: CLUBMAN CAR WANTED

Bumping this up in the hope someone will see it and respond. Surely there must be a competitive car for sale somewhere?

In addition, does anyone know of a Mallock Mk20b or similar for sale please?

Many thanks, Michael

Re: CLUBMAN CAR WANTED

Good Morning Michael.
Two Mk20 cars have changed hands recently. One in kit form and another from the hills that has been unused for over 20 years. Currently there is a Mk17 for sale on racecarsdirect which is essentially a De-deon Mk16. Although shorter wheelbase than the Mk20 they are still good cars. It is a car we have not seen for some time but the spec sheet we have shows its a good spec. It had been used on the hills so will need some conversion back to track use. Mirrors. oil cooler. larger fuel tank etc.
Once this is done it is legal for BARC but for the HSCC classic rules it would need a free diff and a different ignition.
We offer a car inspection service where we view the car and write up a report.
Let us know if we can be of any help.

Re: CLUBMAN CAR WANTED

Michael di say (write) 'modern Clubmans car to run at the front of CSP1 ...

You could try Sweden Micael where there are a few modern cars that would fit the bill.

Regards

Re: CLUBMAN CAR WANTED

Indeed he did.
But at the end of his second post asked about Mk20 or similar. So passed on what current information we had :)
