Food and timings at Silverstone, and lack of garage space
Please be thoughtful to others when parking up. Space is going to be very limited in the paddock this weekend, as we have 6 cars per garage, so we will all need to work with each other, and park what we can on the other side to leave room.
Timings for the weekend:
930am - Bacon butties
1130am - Qualifying
1700hrs - Race 1
Saturday evening BBQ (2 pork joints, 50 sausages, 20 chicken skewers - so hopefully enough to feed those that are staying. We will be making some side dishes to go with the BBQ – potato salad / pasta salad / coleslaw / etc, and Rachel Walton has kindly offered to bring along some desserts.
Cheese and wine contributions gratefully accepted so a cheeseboard could be on offer too ….
Feel free to bring along something to BBQ for yourselves if you wish to add to what we have.
Sunday
9am - Bacon butties
1025 - Race 2
1300hrs - Lunch - Chilli and rice, or curry and rice. Plus Aradhna is bringing a cake.
1520 - Race 3
Please note that there is no Saturday lunch as such, so you will need to have some snacks of your own to keep going until after the race 1 BBQ…

Alternatively we may opt for having Lunch on Saturday during the 5 hour wait between Qual and Race 1 and then eat any leftovers + copious amounts of cake on Sunday.
