Here is the agenda for next Saturday's Drivers' meeting:
Via Dropbox pdf: Agenda
and as follows:
The Clubmans Register

Drivers’ Meeting 23rd November 2013

11a.m. Hatton Suite, Warwick Hilton CV34 6RE

AGENDA

2014 BARC CHAMPIONSHIP

1. Dates and circuits
2. Points - same as 2013? Do we want to keep start/finish point?
3. Numbers/letters
4. Money allocation
5. How do we get maximum cars out?

THE FUTURE AND BEYOND (2015+)

1. BARC – stay or go?
2. Class structure - Proto/Cup/Supercup? Classic - change dates or allow Vauxhall engines?
3. Wing position - change to lower/further back?
4. Tyres - stick with Dunlop or change (radial?)

OTHER ITEMS

1. Committee representation. Who do the drivers want to be represented by?
2. Register Marketing plan.

Please note that whilst all interested parties are welcome, current Register members only can vote.

I also propose that specific class voting be kept to that class’s current members.

Re: Drivers' Meeting AGENDA

Concerning voting I am a bit confused as I am sure I was told registered race drivers would vote. Now it's registered members?

However may I suggest to avoid ambiguity that we sign in as registered drivers on a pre-prepared list provided by the Register so that there is no misunderstanding on what might be tight votes?

For example if there are 13 registered and signed in Cup people that when the vote takes place for/against/abstain should equal 13?

There could be a lot of hand waving on important issues.

Re: Drivers' Meeting AGENDA

To race in the BARC series you need to be a Register member and therefore current Register members only vote (unless, of course, you've slipped by the guard dogs and razor wire fence of Club registration!). H'
