I have just become the proud owner of a Piper 55N, and trying to familiarise myself with the various systems on board. I have a lot of manuals which I have read but I have what I think is probably a rookie question about hot water. I know I can make hot water via the engine and clarifier but can I use the generator to make hot water possibly via an immersion heater? There is a Drayton boiler which I believe makes hot water for the heating system but can it also make hot water just for the shower and kitchen? Any advice would be appreciated.
