Welcome to the Strelets Forum.
Please feel free to discuss any aspect of 1/72 scale plastic figures, not simply Strelets.
If you have any questions about our products then we will answer them here.
First glance, nice figures, poses etc, other uses Indian Mutiny, and a nice morter, I would have prefered a wheeled howizer, but thats no doubt just a personal point of view, I Nwill add it to the list of sets to spend my pocket money on.
i cannot find much to say about these.its a safe set. The uniform sculpting is nice intricate and animation is good. but for a seige battery i expected a little more character with teh bigger calibre guns.i think someone has run out of ideas or research.
gun looks small compred to "the dictator" at frederickburg . i sent you a picture of its a beautiful gun but bigger,
okay well lets see what else we are not getting on time as usual.
okay this looks likE sTRELETS are done with CRIMEAN wAR. its been a shove and push at times and even a collector inspired poll(firat)to get there but its closing on the finish line.
On teh whole, What a collection. Yes we have some hospital sets and religious figures in there ,art inf cav for most armies.ru fr uk tr*(the turks you have to steal from rtw for art figures and the rtw cav also if it get off teh ground).doubt model knife green stuff couldnt amend anything between those wars..
You can't really ever properly finish a range (well, try telling that to WWII Wehrmacht enthuisiasts), but you're right that we now have a really nice range that lacks nothing important. But we could still use more Turks, as well as Bulgarians, Greeks, Montenegrins and French cavalry (loving those red trousers). I'm not asking for these though, since that number of sets would slow down progress in other periodical areas.
actually right now we are thinking about next lot of sets due late 2011.
Should we take it that you believe that the Crimean range is covered already?
No, British Naval Brigade please (my great great Grandfather was on H.M.S Albion, and we have his Crimean medal for savastopol) Florance nightingale/British command,Engineers.
"already covered?" NO way...!!!!!!!
You are not going to get away with that reply strelets, cough them up !teh waiting figures of cw and rtw.
greek bandits (optional montenegren head)would be another use for your zouaves and bashi bazouks and cossacks. balkans are so under represented
okay silistra grand finale will take up to 1 more year.you will see all of cetate inside it plus much more.
