From what I have, it's the advancing rifleman in furazhka and shinel from Red Army in winter uniform. It's difficult to seperate from the sprue but is an excellent portrayal.

He's the one with rifle at port arms? Excellent sculpt with conversion potential as a standard bearer too. Some of the poses standing and kneeling, firing rifles in the two Red Army sets also get my top rating.

All good choices. THe Russians in winter dress are all uniformly excellent too

Biggest dissapointment is the Terek cossacks which most definitely don't live up to the box art. I love the Hussar officer though.

Afraid I must agree, VZ, so much so I use the superior Crimean War Terek horse and foot as RCW Caucasian cossacks with firearm and headgear changes. Of course HaT have a set of WW1/RCW cossacks in the pipeline but how long to wait?
