since taken photographs . i have increased artillery wagons per 'teh tzar" and also replaced imex ones with esci.i been working on improving russian artillery since tehse photograph in september etc.

Next i do turkish artillery, i plan to be complete for June which is just battle.Many many Mules(porter amubulance strecher ambulance seats) have to be bought and painted yes..It shpould all be ready June for firts time i will have ALL Turk and Rouskies in 1 diodrama.the kalafat rifle brigade riflemen =400) will add to these 800 rouskies below plus all teh turks almost 700-900(some 200 imex zouave painted as early turk you will see in June).

I am starting at 20' by 20' but add boards for water which extend 6-8 feet.

June i shutdown hobby to make much better balkan buildings a Lazzaretto building .I go study shop .I come here with 2 suitcase 12 year ago, so is day 1 workshop for me.

I hoep to make balkan danube town on terrace.Then i have 700 more SR Turk for next project silistra perhaps.

Research.
Teh early uniforms and art are giving a few research problems but all is good.I need some text translate from old Ottoamn arabic Book into modern turkish(latin style script) (1 chapter) then it will reveal much.Images are so nice.I hope writing confirms them.

Wow, Hank! That's amazing. I love the great uniforms you painted. The Grenadiers look awesome. And I especially like the artillery scenes under attack w/the story. And it sounds like there is still more ... unbelievable. Keep up the great work. I'm going to go thru the pictures again with a fresh morning coffee - my favorite wake-up method.

Only thing live under house is snakes. I paint at breakfast as well to speed things up.at night when cool i spend 1 hr 30mins,no painting help.spray can wise base color is good time saver.i need to fnish by june.

FYI - Notes :
Am assembling Turkish artilerie and bagagae transport.Have selected "imported" French Valee system to be manned by Turkish cannoniers. 3 limbers per gun(utilizing acw based models vsrietys until something better comes ahem ...from you Strelets guys i hope).one of the limbers had a double ammo box for caisson-voiture-munition.

i am liking teh configurations for 4 horses pulling the limbers empty and full, and will choose to portray this options in diodrama also.

so...32 x 4 horse teams, then 60 mule and 50 kamel for bagage train etc(includes ambulances for both beast of burden).i will use some more miniart housit wagon but will makee shorter than rouskie version..
(300+ animal i hope helps make authenticity better than before) okay enough words is time for executing.
