Possibly in bad taste but we could do with dark age warriors going about their normal business of pillaging (even I wouldn't go as far as the raping bit). Carrying off valuables, herding livestock (especially now we have the excellent Pegasus animals in 1/72nd), burning down houses, carrying off slaves and ransomable captives - all the usual fun. Probably a minority interest but I would also be happy to see civilians and merchant types for the DA - the Vikings were big traders as well as raiders and I reckon some of the dioramaists would be keen to do a more peaceful scene, especially as we now have the Emhar Gokstad ship, which I understand was not really a war vessel.
