Welcome to the Strelets Forum. Please feel free to discuss any aspect of 1/72 scale plastic figures, not simply Strelets. If you have any questions about our products then we will answer them here.
I really hope that Strelets will let us have this announced sets. Also the field camps WWII and General Staff. Regretably since 2 years Strelets is going to make only mass production. The quality and the themes are not so great like in the former days - eg. Mini French in Advance - picture is piece of art but the figures are nearly Honkong quality -or the Dacians. And last but not least your latest Cav. -Sets- je regret mais the riders do not fit very well to their horses. What shall I do with this? For the future we got 3 new Brit. Crime War in Mini format and Roman Auxiliares in advance and before battle. I like this sets but I really would prefer if you do Franco-Prussian war or ACW or German brother war. And ok for your first WW2 set but we will get 4 new superb WWII Soviet sets form Pegasus this year and one from Zvezda. I be a fan of Strelets but please understand my constructive critic. I be sure that Strelets can do much more like in the past -also great artilleries and opening great new epoches!!! (((what about a Napoleonic Austiran cavalry serie- Dragons, Uhlans, Cuirassiers, Hussars)))
Here is a helpful suggestion -- if you ever release the Honved set, make them wear early WWI uniforms, rather than the late war uniform. And go ahead and throw in sets of *** Dragoons and Uhlans while you are at it. The Austro-Hungarian cavalry fought mounted actions against the Russians as much or more than the Germans did, and it would be nice to have figures that represent these soldiers in 1/72 plastic. On the other hand, by 1916 most Austro-Hungarian cavalry (Honved or otherwise) served dismounted, so there would be little use for such a set on horses.
It looks like you could use Strelets' Bengal Lancers for this battle, since they fought there as well(Hodson's horse):
