Last night I found this book, and figured that the members of this forum would either like to know about it, or might be able to tell me how accurate it is.
"The Northern Crusades", by Eric Christianson, Penguin books, 1997
It's the only book in English I have seen on this subject, so I don't have anything to compare it to. What do those who have read it think?

I enjoyed the book, but aside from a few highlights I am not well enough informed about the subject to judge the book's accuracy.
