Decals for Strelets Romans

Hello all,

Can someone tell me if there are decal sets that will fit the shields of the Strelets Roman Legion at battle, and auxilliaries at battle please?

I really like the look of the decals from Little Big Men Studios intended for the Hat Roman figures - does anyone know if these will fit? I cannot really tell from the images I have seen of both the Hat and Strelets shields if they are a good size match.

One other thing - what would be the best choice of command figures I could source from other plastic (or metal) sets? Which ones would give me a good match in terms of scale and proportions? I have noticed there are no command figures in the Strelets sets as far as I can see.

On Najemo Gallery you can download Shield-Patterns for printout on Water-decal paper or selfadhesive labels. So you can adapt them to the right size.

Enjoy.

Hi Roland

Excellent site. However, I'm not building Roman armies (yet) but I am interested in your technique of creating Decals. Do you have any good sources for Water-Decal Paper? I'm sure many of those who read this board and are saving up their shekels for the upcoming Crusader range would be very interested.

Roland

Thanks for the link.

Although, I think you are being optimistic if you think I'll find the paper in many hobby stores in Sweden . I'll make enquiries at some of the specialist printing/fancy stationery stores hereabouts.

Cheers
