Welcome to the Strelets Forum. Please feel free to discuss any aspect of 1/72 scale plastic figures, not simply Strelets. If you have any questions about our products then we will answer them here.
Mahlzeit Uwe,
the Miniart website http://www.miniart-models.com/ shows them already for a while. The boxart looks very promising and the products of MiniArt were quite o.k. lately (sculpting-wise). So let`s hope for another good set to add to the good but pose-wise limited Late Roman Cataphracts from Hät!
Maybe some of the figures could go as Parthian Heavy Cavalry, because all the available sets aren`t that great... .
Greetings
If we're lucky some figures will turn out to be useful for representing Sasanian heavy cavalry, perhaps with a bit of conversion needed. The cavalryman on the left, for example, is sporting the Sasanian helmet found at Dura-Europos (mid-3rd century AD). And most appear to have their sword scabbards attached to waistbelts, which would be perfect for Sasanians as well.
