Welcome to the Strelets Forum. Please feel free to discuss any aspect of 1/72 scale plastic figures, not simply Strelets. If you have any questions about our products then we will answer them here.
I seem to have an eye for seeing things that are useable in my scales. In this case, I found a sauce bottle that looks like it might work as a space capsule.
In the early days of space exploration there were many proposals that never made it off the drafting board much less the launch pad. They included using the space capsules to be the front end of a large passenger compartment so that a whole team of astronauts could go into space on one rocket. They looked at the Soviet plan to have capsules re-entry and land on the ground, and even various parachute and inflatable lifting bodies so the capsule could come don't under pilot control.

The Skrulls are the rulers of an intergalactic empire and an enemy of the Fantastic Four.
As far as I know they only seem to fight the FF one or two Skrulls at a time.
Where is the fun in that?
So I converted a couple submarines into Skull armored personnel carriers.

Off and on for the last couple months I have been doing work, research, and gathering stuff for Jonny Quest.
Here is an update on some of that. My first job was to create the Quest Team and at least one villain.
These are 1/72nd scale, plastic figures that I have converted.

https://bunkermeister.blogspot.com/2025/10/skeletons.html
Skeletons for 54mm games and set ups are very inexpensive and have a lot of poses for such a small set. These go well with the mummys and I suppose you could have two necromancers each with an undead army fighting one another.
I won't likely do that.
I have already done a conversion based on parts from three of the skeletons and I am considering more of them.
Leave an comment and tell me what you would use these for.
A short update on what is going on with my Skrull and Jonny Quest projects.
Both are almost done. Skrulls have been languishing for a long time, years, but
is finally about done.
JQ is a new project and rather small so should not take too long. In theory.
While I have this bridge already, I got another one on sale 50% off at Dollar General.
Bridges large and small have been objectives in military operations for as long as there
have been bridges. So having a few extra is always useful.
This one is rather decorative and would work well in a park or garden setting as well
as a functional bridge along a path.
These little boats were from two different sellers on Amazon who it turns out were selling the same boats.
The photos in one of them made the boats look a little larger and so I ordered them from both sellers.
As it turns out they were identical, which is okay, since they are all very nice little boats.
These are typical Asian boats, I have seen them in You Only Live Twice (James Bond) and other movies.
Simple one piece resin models, no painting necessary.
US Army 155mm artillery for coast defense in 1/72nd scale. I have wanted to make some Panama Mounts for some time and these guns will provide the incentive for that to happen!
Thanks to Billy Hill for providing the artillery support!
Leave a comment on the blog and tell about your artillery.
Making a resin model shine well is what I am doing with this project. This floor product is supposed to make things shine and protect surfaces. So I am trying it to see if it works on models.
