Welcome to the Strelets Forum. Please feel free to discuss any aspect of 1/72 scale plastic figures, not simply Strelets. If you have any questions about our products then we will answer them here.
Bitty Town Store from the TV show The Simpsons. Bitty Town is by Funko Pop. Their products are sturdy, high quality, and pre-colored.
I find them excellent as background wargame buildings, the roofs don't come off so no interior fighting. This series of Bitty Town is new, they are all very small buildings about 3 x 3 inches. So in scale they would represent a small structure about 20 x 20 feet.
I modified the decoration of this one to suit my tastes and because I don't care for the Simpsons that much.
Jack Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas and his little house by Funko. It's a nice and I think rather useful little building. It has potential for horror, monster, uses, or even for a run down part of town, or perhaps some third world or Depression Era shanty town. Jack will end up in my Junkanoo parade I am sure.
More information about Jacks house. It is an interesting little building
My collection includes a few "haunted house" type buildings.
They work well for both horror or for a run down section of town. I try and get buildings that don't
have ghosts and giant spiders cast on them so they are limited to just horror.
They can also be used with ruins or with battle damaged buildings.
Years ago I pondered the question, why doesn't someone make figures for some of my favorite TV shows and movies?
Lost in Space, Space 1999, Star Trek, Jonny Quest, James Bond?
Then I realized that I am somebody, I can make my own figures. So for the last few years I have been working on just those things.
I have not posted anything yet for Lost in Space, not much progress on that so far.
But The Kiss Kiss Club is nearly done, held up by running out of a special glue I need!
Star Trek is pretty far along and I have posted on those figures. And Space 1999 has most of the figures initial run through done, but they
need detailed painting and no work has been done on Moon Base Alpha yet.
Johnny Quest is pretty easy, only a few people and a little dog. They seldom visit the same place twice and can be found all over the world from
tropical rain forests to Arctic locals.
