Funnel

https://bunkermeister.blogspot.com/2025/02/funnels.html
Funnels are important hobby tools. While I could grab a funnel from the kitchen, or from the house tool box, I like to have specific hobby tools. That way there is no complaint about me having the hobby tool when it is needed elsewhere, or complaint's that I got paint on them.

Paint Jars

https://bunkermeister.blogspot.com/2025/02/paint-jars.html

I use pancake syrup jars to hold paint. That is empty ones I get from a restaurant and after they have been though the dishwasher machine.

It seems to work well and I mark the paint that is inside, because a week from now it may not be obvious what paint it is.

Christmas Wagons

https://bunkermeister.blogspot.com/2025/02/christmas-wagon.html

About ten years ago I got some Christmas wagons because I wanted the horses and wheels.
The horses will likely end up towing artillery.
The wagons will be converted to something else, not sure what yet.

Construction Equipment

https://bunkermeister.blogspot.com/2025/02/construction-equipment.html
Construction equipment is very important for wargames.
Not only for combat engineers, but also civilian contractors often work in warzones.
Warzones often have construction going on, mining particularly has to continue.
So I am always on the lookout for cool stuff to buy to do construction.

Medium Dump Truck

https://bunkermeister.blogspot.com/2025/02/medium-dump-truck.html
Another construction vehicle this time a much smaller truck. This one is mostly plastic, and I don't recognize the design, so I suspect it is Asian or European rather than American.
Still, it's a nice size truck and is sure to find use on my wargame table somewhere.

Construction vehicles are always welcome additions to my collection. Here is an overview of the three I got recently.

Santa Globe

Santa Globe

https://bunkermeister.blogspot.com/2025/03/santa-globe.html

Since my blog entries are often prepared weeks in advance sometimes they seem a little out of sync with the real world. So this Christmas blog is a little after Christmas but being retired is like living in Christmas season all the time anyway.
Besides it's a lot of work to get this stuff together and I may not have it finished in time for next Christmas.

Re: Santa Globe

https://bunkermeister.blogspot.com/2025/03/pardon-me-boy-is-that-santa-cho-cho.html

Trains have been associated with Christmas giving for as long as there have been little boys and trains. Here is a first look at my Santa's Workshop train.

The Santa project is what I call a low priority project. It takes a backseat in time and money to just about everything else. It is the CBI of wargame projects. But I found a nice train for a dollar and that seemed to fit in the price range I was looking for.

Little Red Train

A little red train for Santa to use to shift toys around his workshop.
