I second that, Resorgimento woumd be great, Italians, Garibaldi's red shirts, Napoleon III's French. The period in between the Crimean war and the Franco-Prussian war is uncovered. The Mexican Expedition of Napoléon III would be great, French légionnaires in képi and with sombrero, Mexicans of course and Cameron!!! Lots of boxes to buy because lots of figures to display. I'd love also figures for the Mexican révolution, Regulares and Emiliano Zapata & Pancho Villa's men. At the end French troops, paratroopers and Légionnaires, for the French Indochina Ward especially Dien Bien Phu' siege
I’m in favor of anything mid 19th century as well, or any 19th century for that matter. The uniforms of this period are up there with the best. Blackwatch miniatures has a great range for the War of 1859, but they are metal and a bit pricey. It’d be nice to have some plastic sets to provide the back bone for the range.
French in Indochina (& their adversaries), Napolean III's /emperor Maximillian in Mexico, Zapata / Villa ( & their adversaries) in Mexico, the Italian Risorgimento, the Naepolitan troops (Kingdom of the 2 Sicilies)during Napoleonic times, White Russian army during Bolschevic revolution, Green Berets for Vietnam war, the Franco-Prussian war: all still a dream waiting to be realised.
