Proper tools are essential to good model making. I like to keep a stash of supplies and a variety of model tools on hand. I store most of my model tools in an old jewelry box so they are right to hand.
The plastic tubing is for a laser project I have going. Toy laser of course.
Finding inexpensive and usable vehicles is always something I am happy to locate. This is a small pick up truck in a rather generic style. American pick up trucks looked like this from the late 1930s to the 1960s, and many are still on the road today. The US military used trucks like this for decades also for all sorts of light hauling.
Shown with a 1/72nd scale Hat Industries US Army WWI figure for size.
I used installation foam to make a blob monster. It was left over from a home improvement project.
The monster is about four inches across and very durable, and it was free.
