Re: New sets

Yes, well done Asher. Super well done Strelets!

That's three sets for the coming release, I wonder how many there will be?

Regards, James

Re: New sets

Thank you both! Although I must admit, owning the Osprey Men at Arms book for the Seminole Wars made it very easy. I’d highly recommend the book for anybody looking to paint these sets. I might have to pick up Ospreys “Combat” book on the Seminole Wars as well now. Altogether very exciting to see a very niche subject matter like this covered. I’d definitely be interested in Strelets covering such niche topics in the future no matter the era.

Re: New sets

HI. May I respectfully suggest some niche topics for consideration: Norwegian, Dutch & Belgian for early WW2. Emperor Maximillian in Mexico. Mexican bandits and Villa/Zapata revolutionaries and their adversaries government troops; Vichy militia; Green Berets(Vietnam); Spanish army re RIF war.

Re: New sets

If we are covering new sets, two wheeled cart/wagon British SWS an integral part of Marlborough's army, and very useful for lots of other stuff too.

Re: New sets

I like all the suggestions brought forward here. Some sort of supply set for the WSS would be greatly welcomed and have uses beyond the intended topic. I would also back the WW2 ideas. Lots of gaps in the early war phase not just in 1/72 but in all scales. Norwegians, Belgiums, Danes would fill that gap nicely. And then for my own personal plans some Bulgarians would be amazing. People tend to overlook them because they think only had a minor occupation role during the war, but in reality (once they switched sides) they saw heavy combat in the Balkan campaigns.

With all of that being said I do appreciate the work that has been done to fill in gaps in our hobby recently. Never in a million years did I think we’d get Seminole War sets, and the sets for early WW2 Japanese and Americans have been very nice as well.

Re: New sets

I greatly support the suggestion for Bulgarians for WW2, and perhaps a set re Spanish Army involved in Russian campaign. A lot of vehicles (Oxford brand) exist re Royal Navy. So a couple of sets re Royal Navy (even with poses in the harbour) will be a huge plus and greatly appreciated.
