I think that it is really good of you to post this apology. Congratulations. You are the bigger person for it.
What that thread became is indicative of why our hosts requested years ago (sadly it is now years); if people want to have such 'discussions', carry them out on other fora.
In-between Strelets' updates, restricted as they are, posts showing what people are doing in the sphere of the hobby are far more constructive and in keeping with the nature of this forum.
For some inherent and baffling reason (to me), mankind needs something/someone to believe in so strongly, and so much, that a difference of opinion can lead to animosity, hatred, violence and/or war. Imagine if each and everyone of us had no such strong belief in a politician, sports-team, or religion how the world might be...
