I have wanted Planet of the Apes figures in 1/72nd scale since I saw the movie in 1968.

These figures are 60mm and are great.

If they were 1/72nd scale plastic I would buy a thousand of them.

I agree that it would be amazing to have these figures in 1:72. I wonder if the manufacturer could produce a set in our scale? I'm not sure how hard it is to scale down a larger master figure.

I asked that very question and apparently it is beyond their ability to manufacture them in small scale.

I think their products are hand cast one at a time and that does not lend itself to either mass production or small scale items. I am not sure of that, however, but that is my surmise.

Perhaps one of the other companies, like Strelets, or maybe one of those that already does "fantasy" or TV / movie / video games could partner with Elastowit to make these in small size. The advantage is that Elastowit has already done the research, and master model making, so it should be a quick and low risk venture.
