You may have hit the nail on the head with this one Marco. These look pretty identical to the Seminole references I have.

Hmm, welp. I'm gonna take a wild guess these beauties might be Osceola and the Seminole Wars. Right or wrong, I highly recommend the 1953 Rock Hudson movie, "Osceola." Nothing but action, great uniforms on both sides and a memorable stockade for the Rock and his Cavalry.

Small point, shouldn’t the muskets be rather longer? The one with the kneeling figure particularly looks much too short to be to scale to me?
