More from Mont St Jean

Dear All,

Thanks so much for your kind comments about this part of my Waterloo project. Here are the latest updates from Mont St Jean. I took advantage of a gap between rain clouds to take the section outside. The light is rather nice, at least for a while, but then I had to go inside again where it was darker.

The scene shows the courtyard, the front gate, burial pits to the north of the farm and some French prisoners on the road. More on my blog here: http://generalpicton.blogspot.com

Outstanding, a similar effect to my first watching of Gone with the wind and the casualty scene.

Re: More from Mont St Jean

Love these pictures. I have to agree with Alan on the similarities to "Gone with the Wind" casualties scenes.

Re: More from Mont St Jean

Really the natural light gives more reality than artificial light. It looks more natural and I can agree with that technicolor look that Selznick applied in the movie.

Nice and as always enormous job you expose!
