Strelets, with all that is going on - and happened - lately, I am more than surprised by the announced releases of both Jacobite artillery sets and the WSS French Musketeers of the Guard. None of which have made it yet into US dealer hands that I have been able to determine although some are just now receiving resupplies of WSS Cuirassiers and Dragoons.
However, my question today is about the fantastic Dutch troops (Cuirassiers and infantry), Bavarian, Spanish and Austrian infantry sets you posted figures (masters) of many months ago and which I believe Anton created. With the prospect of all these coming and the beautiful details and posing of the figures I saw - they confirmed and cemented my newly found interest in this period. But no word has been mentioned by you lately of their status.
So, let me ask the question,,,,, are they still coming and on schedule? Or has their debut been delayed due to damage/loss of molds such what happened with some of the Napoleonic sets, or have any of these sets been canceled otherwise? Any detailed status update from you would be greatly appreciated and encouraging at the same time.
I am keenly aware of many of the challenges you all have been experiencing due to the war: employee issues, power outages and disruptions, sporadic supply and material problems, loss of molds and or machinery, raw material delays, transportation and delivery nightmares etc……you could probably add a host more to the list. All these problems - and probably more - leave many of us in wonder how you are getting anything out. But you do.
Where have you seen the WSS Cuirassiers in America Toby? I’ve been looking. RebelAlpha on eBay finally added the Bavarian Cuirassiers to his shop, which I picked up, but I have yet to see the Austrians which of the two sets I’ve been wanting more.
Replying to Asher: I did write ‘WSS Cuirassiers’ and I should have specified just the Bavarians at Rebeldelphia - which I had been waiting for also and ordered this morning. Scott is supposed to get a resupply of the WSS Austrian Cuirassiers too but apparently not yet. I say resupply because he replied in an email late last year he had just a few of the WSS Austrians Cuirassiers sets before but they sold out real quick. (I missed his carrying that one completely and I check him pretty regularly). I highly recommend him on eBay to US customers BTW.
I have a standard ‘search’ for WSS Strelets on EBay which I check everyday. But yesterday I tried the option to buzz/email me when anything new of that nature and search was listed anew. This morning it worked and I saw Scott/Rebeldelphia had posted a new resupply.
