When the war with Russia started just over a year ago, one of your young sculptors volunteered to go to the front lines. If it's acceptable to ask, how is he? Could he possibly be coming back to continue his craft that he and his young wife do together? Again, I hope it is acceptable to ask, and I hope he and all Ukranian soldiers safety! GC
last time we heard from him was shortly after the New year when he returned from forests in Kremennaya area for a short break. Back then he was OK. We don't know about his whereabouts now.
It's pretty useless to devise far-fetched plans watching how many of these plans are buried all across the place:
"In Ukranian fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,..." (with apologies and deference to John McCrae)
Brings tears to your eyes.
What an unnecessary *****in' waste of life (resources, time, effort) war is. This one brings '14–'18 back into stark relief. No way to settle 'disputes'...
You're right, in some way it look like World war one :
I'm sure one day Strelets will grant us some beautiful set of modern soldiers for this war which is a display of courage and bravery among suffering.
