Hello everyone. Hope your Monday is off to a good start. I’ve recently been looking everywhere for a set of Strelets Crimean War British Line Infantry. I haven’t been able to find it anywhere but I figured I should probably at least check here before giving up.
Hm ...tried to get it myself some time ago, didn't find one either, then had a second look at the pics and decided I actually didn't like them very much anyways and bought a couple of boxes of British Light infantry instead. The shako is the same, the coat can be painted red and the back is obscured by all the stuff hanging at the back so doesn't matter. Personally I'm quite pleased with the alternative.
I checked it out Pedro. I appreciate the help but unfortunately they are pretty out of stock of their old Strelets sets. They did have a few old ones though that I haven’t found anywhere else before.
Asher, every now and again a person will sell (for whatever reason) to the Sentry Box their still boxed collections. I am sure I will be one of those persons some day. So good idea to regularly check the catalogue because quite often a number of OOP items will be included in these collections.
